I have known F A Watts and been associated with Mike Mason for 23 years. The first task for Mike in 1987 was to organise the phase out of our Company Pension Scheme and divide the fund fairly between individual employees depending on their level of contribution. He then advised and managed our ninety employees on their options for Personal Pension planning which he continues to do. Mike also advised and managed the three Directors Self Administered Pension.
Since selling our business in 1997 and retiring in 2000, Mike has managed and advised me on my pension fund and capital investments to provide me with a balanced portfolio, providing a very good monthly pension whilst maintaining the capital investments at a very high level.
I would recommend F A Watts and particularly Mike Mason to anybody as a sound solid choice to manage and advise your portfolio, indeed I can say I have done just that to a very good family friend who is also extremely pleased with the advice received and the management of their pension providing good performance even in the troubled times we are experiencing with the financial markets.

My husband died in November 2006 and a friend gave me some sound advice suggesting I got myself a Financial Advisor and gave me the name Mike Mason of F A Watts.
A meeting had been arranged between my husbands solicitor, two people form Lloyds Insurance, my brother-in-law (an executor) and myself. Very much at the last moment I got in touch with Mary, Mike’s marvellous secretary, this was on a Friday and Mike came and saw me on Monday and the meeting was on Wednesday. It was very comforting having Mike advising me, particularly about Lloyds.
Since then he has been so helpful, going through my husbands papers, removing sackfuls to be shredded by his patient staff. He also helped me when I bought my retirement cottage and with selling my previous house. He always seemed to be there with sound advice and encouragement during a very stressful period.
Over the last two and a half years my finances have prospered thanks to Mike’s knowledge of the financial market. He and Mary have become my very good friends.

F A Watts have been providing independent financial advice to Macmillan Publishers’ staff since 2003. We asked Simon Gooding and the F A Watts team to provide advice to individuals who needed to look at their pensions either for planning purposes or when they were coming up for retirement. Adams Morey and F A Watts started their long term relationship as a result of a recommendation from their auditors. Initially focusing on the needs of the directors of the company, trust was developed giving the confidence to entrust F A Watts with the management of the total company pension scheme. This resulted in a completely different solution for Adams Morey staff members, moving from a very low level of information to the web based technology we now have. The advice and support given to staff was professional and enabled the transition to go smoothly. Simon Gooding and his team are always quick to respond to requests from new members and look after their existing clients by holding individual pensions reviews with staff on an annual basis.
